super hero movies.
We've had this problem for a while. It all started around the time Spy Kids came out...then they had to make 3 more spy kids. Then they made some super-hero high or something...and then two more and then the i dunno fabulous four or something...which i saw and thought was dumb. You can excuse XMEN and Superman. Now they are coming out with "Zoom"(thank you AIM ads for telling me...) ; same theme as pretty much all the others...
Seriously, it's getting dumber. Now, instead of going "oh wow, that's like spy kids" you have to go "oh wow, it's like spy kids 1,2,3, superhero- high, and...etc". Because I refuse to apply effort to do research onto the subject I do not have the names of the large number of other kid-teen-young adult super hero movies. I honestly they went too far on all the spider-mans as well. Kinda bad timing considering the large number of others coming out around the same time.
Kinda like, after Madagascar came out, another animated movie came out about zoo animals visiting the wild. Been there, done that...thankfully only once for this case and not 20 times for the super-hero case.
Maybe you think it is unfair for me to consider spy kids super heros but their abilities are akin to super hero powers. Not to mention...DARKWING IS A SUPER HERO and he doesnt have any super powers. Long live Darkwing!
Darkwing!!! <3

they're coming out with Spiderman 3 soon. so far, XMEN is my all time fav, i haven't seen Superman, but my friends had, and they seem to love it.
is this darkwing duck that you are referring to? cuz i loooveee that shows! it was the best disney cartoon ever!

Yea, but he was a talking duck... That is kinda like a super power; plus he was able to hold that cool gun so he must have had opposable thumbs or something... The point is he is no ordinary duck. It isn't like batman, who just became a ninja and then fought crime, unless batman was really a hedgehog or something... or a bat, that makes more sense.
what was I talking about?

replying to JK:
actually if you think about, he [DW] really doesn't have any power. i mean, in his world it's all normal..maybe they live in another dimension. they prolly think we are the weird looking one. so really he's like a Batman in their world....and why would Batman ever be a hedgehog?? [ohh you think they will ever make a Sonic the Hedgehog movie??]

Apparently they already made a sonic movie:

Maybe even more than one
I've never heard of it though... So I have to assume it is horrible and not worth renting.
At what point are you classified as having super powers? Like what if batman was already a little stronger (just normal genetic variation). Like is bruce willis in unbreakable strong enough to be classified as having a super power?
Or do you have to have laser eyes and the like.
Maybe just having the guts and determination to be a "super" hero in the first place qualifies as a power... I certainly haven't seen any real life super heros.

i would classify Bruce Willis as someone who have a super power. a train wreck and not even a scratch. a car accident and not even a scratch. he had that ability to NOT get hurt. though they don't show what would happen if a bullet is fired at him, you get the idea from the train wreck. if little shark of glasses flies and he doesn't get any scratch, a bullet would prolly have the same effect. not to mention, when he was at the subway, he has that ability to touch people and know things about them. how was he able to save those kids w/o seeing a "vision".
Batman, i consider him to be powerless, but he becomes a hero by determination, endurance and motivation. he becomes known by his actions rather than using a special gift. human mentality is not really a power, it's attainable unlike Spiderman's web (unless you get those cool spiders).
note that i say Batman is a hero instead of a "super" hero. he is known as a "super" hero as a popularity effect. just look at Robin, he was Batman's sidekick, but he was less popular therefore he was not known as "super". it's more about popularity of the heroes to be "super" too.
there's are lot of hero in real life, but i guess they just don't stand out from other heroes to be known as "super" as what happen to Batman.
i meant a Sonic the Hedgehog movie that's not an animation.
