This dispute came up while we were working cause one of my group members seems to have been rejected by his gf for a renown asshole. John agreed but said I was an exception to the girls-like-assholes rule. He looked it up online and there was some girl on a forum ranting about her perfect significant is too nice.
I think I have figured it out though. Assholes tend to be aggressive and maybe girls like aggressive and it just so happens that nice guys are placid. I don’t think it’s a good judgment to say that nice guys cant be aggressive though. I think I am kinda aggressive but I don’t think I’m a jerk. [Although John kept screaming ‘asshole’ in my ear all yesterday as I totally pwned some newbies in a mmorpg]
But! If I am an asshole- and I don’t think I am BUT…if I am…that means guys like assholes too! Evidence does show this as a possibility. Or maybe it’s high maintenance.
Whatever the case…aggressive doesn’t have to be mean. I think that must be why evilly good is great cause then you get all that viciousness and creativity [and world domination] and dun have to worry about placidly watching TV every night instead of wrecking havoc among the masses. That’s why your significant other is supposed to be partner in crime and not minion. Minions can get the pain in the neck but you’re fair to your partner in crime.
The only thing I have against niceness is that some people go to far and it just allowed injustice to maintain itself. Passive isn’t always the answer. I know I’m passive a lot, but it doesn’t mean I want to be. Sure if you were omnipotent and omnificent you could forgive everyone for everything- but we’re not and hence it would be wrong to let too much go- it’s only fair.
Long live evilly-good…wherever it may be -_-

I hate those jerks, always stealing my women away! That's why I plant timed detonation devices in all my girlfriends... We'll see how many girlfriends those jerks steal when they are in a burn ward.

didn't Jim Carrey's character in The Mask write an article entitled nice guys finish last? He just needed a little help from Loki.

I've been with guys that are passive, and every time I've ended up leaving them. Not because they were "nice guys" but because everything seemed too perfect in a way.
In my experience: Fighting, having differences and engaging in heated arguments every once in a while will bring you closer to your spouse, in a way that you will never get with the traditional (passive) "nice guy".
Wow, too perfect... haven't heard that one before. Makes sense though.
