First Day of C term

I had art class and english class. Nothing really to be too afraid of.

That is, of course, unless you are epileptic.

Art class, aside from looking a bit too straightforward to take immensely seriously- is no ally to those cursed with the power of seizures.

We watched a number of shorts from "paperrad"- some underground techno-artist-combination according to our professor. I wonder why they are "underground"- is it because their entire audience is comprised of philosophical delusional artists [2%] and the world's most avid stoners [98%]?

Well, I am sure nobody actually minds that they ripped off gumbie, the simpsons, and four hundred other shows and ideas and used images they didn't even make...in videos they sold for money.

It was prolly monopoly money though. So let's not worry about it. And nobody in the class had a seizure. Which is too bad cause that means we can't talk about that either.

How about...

my professor's morbid taste and duel personality? Ok, so maybe she doesn't have a duel personality but she does go by two completely different names.

All her images are death-related and...ugly beyond all reason. Ok, pacifists...i meant not my cup-o-tea. Actually, I meant what i said a long time about about good artists starving and bad artists prospering. However, I don't think my professor should starve. She has a phD. Doctors arent allowed to starve. Even if they are a doctor of bananas. 'Cause they spent like 8-10 years on bananas.

I shouldn't insult. Maybe she is hiding the good pictures. And reading this blog post. That would be scary wouldn't it? Although it is a risk. She's literary. You can only trust the engineers not to be interested in you.

I guess it all comes down to the fact that artists must be philosophical to a point where hallucinogens are no longer necessary in order to develop tremendously random, disorganized and single-themed artwork. Maybe that is what makes me a scientist and not a "non-scientist" as we are recently discussing in our EN class...and the prof in that class is definitely on the side of the scientist [ironic as he teaches EN]. That is, I am a scientist because I do not find the essence of scribble to be enchanting. Finding solace in ignorance just makes my throat all weird.

A connoisseur of art insults nothing...merely because they are incapable of taking an opinionated standpoint- whereas scientists are required based on logical facts. So far as the artist is concerned, there is no such thing. The scientist- there must be such thing. The literary always downplays the gauge do they not?

So, in summary:

AR: Seizure training
EN: Pro-science philosophical propaganda
