just across the street..

Today, I left my younger sister in charge of Philip, my younger brother for a short time...

Just to pick up a few things.

Annnyway. Last I went to CVS it was across the street in the webster square plaza. After crossing the always excessivly busy street I realized they had moved further up and on the other side. So I walked back to the other side and started walking up the hill...

I caught myself thinking at one point as I neared it..."There it is! Just over the horizon!" Catching myself immediatly I began to scrutinize the over exageration of CVS prestige. Sure, it was hot and i was blinded by the sun, having maybe an oasis-in-the-desert effect buuut...CVS DID look like a castle or a stadium...something like a combination of the two.

If anyone has noticed they're starting to act a bit like Walmarts... When I got in they even had a refrigerator and freezer section with ice cream. Even though I'll complain, the CVS new bigger and everything idea does has some positive attributes. I'd much rather, for instance, go to a CVS than a Wal-Mart. But it also loses the whole small-close-by-store-with-the-essentials state.

I had another problem...

Since I don't usually go shopping myself I am not used to having to make decisions between...anything.

So i figured i should get deoderant since i didnt have any...there were like 3o brands and for each brand there were 3 different types and 10 different scents. Most of them were about the same price. Before looking at the prices though I was pretty overwhelmed...and I thought it was pretty retarded that I had to actually spend time deciding something like this. I was contemplating closeing my eyes and just grappling randomly and then going with whatever i grabbed. Luckily there was a sale on one of them so i got to be a cheapo. I figured if there was no other deciding factor I minds well let the price be....

The rest went alright because i actually knew the specifics of what i was looking for.

and so ends my CVS adventures...

I'm sure I have bored you out of your mind ^_^
