There has always been the typical mix-up of left and right…but is it really that they don’t know left from right…or is it that they just so happen to BOTH be right.
Usually, the subject chooses to say "right" when "left" is the correct answer – but very few actually forget which side is right and which is left [with the exception of children under 10].
I had determined…that it is not the misconception that left is actually in the opposite direction [right] but the fact that when left is the correct answer…it is the RIGHT answer. No matter which direction is chosen…the answer is supposed to be RIGHT.
You want to go the right way don’t you? Well, if left is the right way then it is also right…now isn’t it!
And there we have it…our tendencies to choose the ideal overcome us once again! Haha! [yeah…right…]
While we are on such a related subject I’d like to talk about insects.
Actually, I hate insects…so I’m not going to talk about them. I will merely comment that I was rescued [and my bike…especially my bike] from a built-in nest of thousands of swarming ants [thank you Andrew] which is still traumatizing me to this day! [yay]

if i ever forget which is right or left, i put both my hands out and see which one make an "L". THE "L" one is the left one. unless of course, you hold your hand out w/ the palm facing you. but it's natural for me to always have my palm facing down with all my fingers down except the index and thumb.
i can't ever do the "think which hand you write with", i sometime forget which hand does that.

Andyrew > ants ... GG NO RE!
When I was 16, I had someone drop off outside a strange house and walked a mile home because I was too embarrassed to tell them I meant left, when I'd said right ;-)
